Molson makes a few brands. " Canadian " and " Export " are the most popular. Which one did you get?? It was over 15 years ago that I last had a Molson's in the US. It was definetly better than any US brand I ever had at the time but not the same as the Molson's we get here. Was your bottle green or brown. Did it have a date stamp as to when it was brewed? Did it say " 5% alcohol " on the lable? Perhaps Molson is feeling sorry for you guys and is shipping better stuff these days. Couldn't wait to try the Sam . They were out! Apparently only one store in town carries it, and were out. But, I was determined to try something new, so I got some Molson instead. I remember you saying the U.S. version is not as good as the Canadian, so let me say this: I'm moving to Canada if the beer is that good! I was impressed. I've tried it but of all the Molson brands, I like Canadian the best. 5.9% alcohol sounds about right for Ice. I know it's a little above the standard 5% for most beers. Perhaps it is the same as the beer here.
