Took Clayton to the doctor today because he had a bad rash on his thighs near

his diaper area that would just not go away. Guess what - he has a yeast

infection. Doctor thinks it is from the acid in his urine or stool -

wonderful. Luckily it is only in the diaper/thigh area so we have to put a

cream on it with every diaper change until it goes away. ONLY CLAYTON.

After the ped checked Clayton out we were talking and he said for the first

time that " Clayton really is a peanut " . THANKS. He said it nicely but meant

that Clayton is still real small and his features are real small and fine and

that he looks no older than 15 months at the most (no wonder people always ask

me how close Cole and Clayton are thinking they are 9-10 months apart and are

shocked when I say 2 minutes). This was depressing - since i guess I knew it

to be true but he was the ped saying it unprompted. He also said facial

features and head were small, hands and feet (his size 4 shoes are still big!

and he will be 2, 2 weeks from today). He suggested that I take him to see

Dr. Elaine Zacki at CHOP (children's Hospital of Philadelphia) as she is one

of the best geneticist in the country and also one of those doctors who can

often look at kids, measure then and then determine what the problem is -- so

tomorrow I get to make another appointment -- lucky me.

Well, here we go again.

Love,

Sharon

sensory integration disorder and now tremors and suspected metabolic disorder,

WHEN WILL THIS END)
