Guest guest
Hi! i have a question concernig diagnosing Mito. My husband had blood work sent to town to test for MELAS, NARP and several other mito disorders and his blood work came back normal. Now a neurologist wants to do a muscle biopsy to test. Do you think that this is a good thing to do? I have read so many people say that nothing was found in the muscle biopsies. If all tests come back normal, does that mean no Mito or just that the mitocondria that was tested was normal? I have also read that several of you are taking riboflavin for migraines. I have read that fibovlavin is not stored in the body. Is 200 or 400 mgs too much? I talked with a pharmicist and he suggested 100 mg for a month and then 50 mgs a day after that. Has anyone tried lower doses and how soon do you see results? Thanks, ( concerned wife and mother to a great 20 yr old son)
