Guest guest
Greetings everyone! Im a new member to this forum so let me introduce myself - I am a student at the Copenhagen Business School in Denmark. I stumbled across this forum as i was doing some research on the net and after seeing the rich inputs on it, i decided to join. I need help from someone, anyone, out there who has some patience for me. I am currently doing a project on AIDS/ HIV in india and i have some unanswered questions. Ive been looking for this information on the internet and am not really able to figure out some things. I hope somebody can take the time to answer me. 1. What exactly does a patient in India do when they discover they are HIV positive - where do they go for treatment, who administers is it? 2. Who pays for treatment and tests in India - does the government pay/support it in any way? 3. When do patients in India go for HIV tests - when they are really ill and doctors suspect a full blown case of AIDS? Do people in villages etc go in for regular checkups? I hope someone can either direct me to where i can find answers or explain a little bit of this to me. The project i am doing is for an organization which wants to donate resources and help to alleviate AIDS in India. Thank you for your time. Warm regards, Ishan E-mail: <ig@...>
