HIV positive denied vocational seat

There is one more incidence of disdcrimination against HIV positive woman

Smt Yashoda of Bellary had applied for vocational training for short hand and

tailoring courses at Bijapur But she was rejected when she voluntarily revealed

to the Principal during inteview that She is HIV positive. Her repeated appeal

to the higher authorities has yielded no results.

Her husbad has died of AIDS few years back and subsquently she is tested

positive. She wanted to be independant and self supportive.
