Guest guest
Have someone who does cranial manipulation, like an osteopath, evaluate him. Also consider a behavioral optometric exam. A lot of behavior problems can be due to not seeing things like everyone else. > Test 1-16-02 Result > 3-09-01 Result > Cortisol 10.1 ug/dL (4.3-22.4) > 8.1 (no range stated) Low-normal cortisol, > CMP: Glucose 68 mg/dL (65-109) 76 mg/dL > (60-110 so why is the glucose low-ish, which should cause high cortisol? > CMP: Lytes:Sodium 137 mEq/L (135-145) 140 (135-145) > CMP: lytes:Potassium 5.1 mEq/L (3.5-5) 4.3 > (3.4-5.4) Low adrenal function goes with high potassium. > > CMP: Globulin 3.8 g/dL (1.3-3.4) 3.1 g/dL > (1.3-3.4) And high globulins. Maybe he could stand to promote more normal healthy adrenal function? As with adrenal cortical extract, B5, licorice, etc? > TSH 1.32 uIU/mL (.37-6) > 1.76 (.37-6) > Free T4 1.01 ng/dL (.9-1.6) > 0.84 (.8-1.7) The relation between the TSH and free T4 appears to be abnormally low (there is a chart in the appendix of my book). The signs of low thyroid are given in my book. You might want to go over them and see how your kid scores. So low relation between T4 and TSH, which is a problen caused by the pituitary being out of whack, and maybe low adrenal function with pretty normal ACTH, which may or may not be a pituitary thing. > > T3 by ICMA: 202 ng/dL (70-180) 193 ng/dL > > (70-180) Low-ish T4 and high T3 can be from fast phase 1 metabolism. Is he chemically sensitive? > > > > I took a break starting 12-9-01. He was having really poor > behavior, > > lots of outbursts of anger and striking out. This problem has not > > changed in either direction since taking a break. Typical low adrenal function behavior. An alternative doc might try to do something about this. A naturopath would do 'adrenal support. " A mainstream doc would blow it off. If you work on thyroid + adrenal things you need to do the adrenal first, because adding in thyroid can make the adrenals go lo
