Guest guest
I just had this thought about why so many of us (but not me...yet) have been diagnosed with HPV as a *supposed* cause of vv. Could it be that there is a myth perpetuating about the relationship between HPV and vv such that gyns tend to " look " for it when someone reports painful intercourse/vulva and then, when they find it, they have confirmed their prejudices even though there may not actually be a relationship between the two. Does that make any sense? What I am saying is the equivalent of there being a theory that someone with vv is likely to have two nostrils. Sure enough people who report pain with intercourse/painful vulva, upon examination, DO in fact generally have two nostrils!!! Lo and behold! We must obviously " TREAT THIS *TWO-NOSTRIL SYNDROME* ASAP by burning that dividing cartillage..... " Hope you're with me as this would be a really weird post if you took me literally.........
