Guest guest
Hi , Thank you for your response. Actually, I know is a great doctor, but when I got my biopsy results - it said subtle lichenoid vaginitis. In parentheses, it said - these are not the findings of lichen planus. So, there must be some distinction. Dr. felt I had more of desquamative inflammatory vaginitis - who knows. I will admit Anusol helped a lot - maybe I should just go back on it. I tried Cleocin for 6 nights so far - it's supposed to be a 2 week course along with lactobacillus. Multi-gyn - I tried for 2 weeks. I did look into food allergy - I came back positive for all these allergies, but found the diet did not help me at all - I gave up wheat and milk and garlic and almonds - I am now going to go back on my regular diet as I felt it made no difference for me. I tried all the immune stuff with a naturopath - liver detox, colonics, lactobacillus, uva ursi, homeopathic remedies, bioflavonoids. The works!! So, I think my immune system should be OK by now - I don't know about all that anyways - I hardly get sick. I get sick like once in 2 years so I thought - doesn't that mean my immunity is pretty good? This is really confusing. I also believe that the muscle tension and the lichenoid stuff are related - so I'm wondering if releasing the muscle tension will get rid of the lichenoid vaginitis. We will see. I did want to tell you - I read one lady who had lichen planus - she got better with Y-Stat suppositories. I tried 2 of these and they burnt really bad - it's boric acid, calendula, and berberine. I couldn't handle it!!! The other thing that helps some people with lichen planus is a homeopathic remedy called causticum. Once again, did not help me either!! If I find anything else out, I will definitely let you know. I know that this is very frustrating!! Seema
