Adrenal fatigue is when your adrenal glands are shot. The old word

for it is combat fatigue. Your pituitary tells them what to do but

they are just to worn out to respond.

Paradoxical adrenal response or paradoxical stress response is when

your hypothalamus and pituitary don't tell your adrenals to do

something in response to stress. In this case your adrenals are

usually fine since they never get a work-out.
