Guest guest
DeEtte: just got back from vacation and saw your post (only 240 emails to go thru!) - don't know if you got the info but the site is 1800dietfoods.com. I know uses the choc bars but they made me so nervous that I decided a truffle would do it. (Brittany hasn't had a seizure on either though 0 just me the nervous nellie) I use the choc. mint de-lite truffles. Brittany loves them - but I do use them only occasionally as a snack. (They are 60 calories) Let me know if you need more info- Good Luck!
Guest guest
DeEtte: I use the mint chocolate truffles and they are 60 calories each. Brittany is on 3:1 ratio with 2 50 cal snacks so I don't even calc. it - just use it as one 50 and then cut back on her macadamia nut snack at the next time. I have also been using another total cheat- but it has been going well. I ordered off the 1800dietfoods site some carbolite gummy animals. They have the malitol too, but no fat, or protein. Mostly they are just malitol and gelatin. If I remember right there are 36 cal in a serving of 5 but the most i have ever given Brittany is 2. I use them at those really bad times- when life is sooo unfair. In some ways I feel better about them then the truffles as there is so little in them - I figure the most she gets is about 14 or 15 additional calories. So far she has been fine. I am thinking of leaving some in baggies for her teacher for those times when someone brings something in and it doesn't fit into snack time etc. I hope does great at kindergarten this week! I am so nervous for Brittany - besides starting kindergarten , this will be the first time she is separated from her twin brother!! Hope has a great week= we start the 28! Guest guest
Hi , We also use the gummy animals and have had no problems. Kelsey is very careful about "free" snacks and will usually only eat one at a time maybe twice a day. I have been ordering a lot from their web site because it is the only food that helps Kelsey stay with the diet. Kelsey has actually said that she may continue on the diet a little longer because of the food items we have found for her. Have you tried the chicken sausage? Kelsey loves it. Good luck at school. Love, and Kelsey

Brittany has been eating the pancakes you suggested- she has them everyday for breakfast and just loves them! They have certainly made life a little easier. Thanks !!!
