Guest guest
Sharon, How did you get the IQ testing on Jake? I keep getting told several of my grandsons are too young for that type of testing. Also, the fine motor skills is so much a part of the ADD problem. We have horrible handwriting-some so bad it's about illegible even as adults. Kody at age 7 still has trouble tieing his shoes yet he is definitely one of the more brilliant minds (we make Einstien jokes about him, but it is frustrating for him and us). It's just so hard for him to use his hands on little things-but he loves the mechanical things and uses his tools all the time (poor us-I told him NO car repairs without supervision-work on your bike!) I also told him NO electrical work buddy when he started at the bathroom light switch at age 5. So how do people get to get their kids into OT and these IQ tests for more help and/or opportunities?
