Guest guest
On one of my listservs I vaguely remember some discussion about " mercury rash " with DMSA. Is this for real? I did an archives search, but got too many hits. My son has developed a nasty rash just below his lip, it comes and goes. Thanks Rose
Guest guest
Usually by direct contact with something that contains mercury. Was there mercury exposure? What kind of rash is it? > > Is there such a thing and how does it manifest usually? thanks >
Guest guest
I think it came from Laundry detergent that was used instead of my usual hypoallergenic fragrance free dye free detergent as my son broke out in hives all over his legs yesterday for the first time. He has also had red rashes that come and go on his face recently. Have started using NAC in his methyl b12 injections for past couple of weeks. To confound everything he's had the flu for past week, with a pertussis like cough (and the NAET person just cleared him last week for pertussis, and the day before this happened, cleared him for heavy metals including mercury - weird huh?). He has had the facial rashes especially on right cheek before - I always assumed it was from food exposure. This was ever since I had started him on pepcid(which I found out was a mild chelator) for reflux, eye contact and spontaneous speech - it has that effect on him due to histamine antagonism in the brain. I stopped it for a while as I wanted to let his stomach acids do their work as I thought the pepcid was preventing him from killing allergens. thanks Pam > > > > Is there such a thing and how does it manifest usually? thanks > > >
