I am ALWAYS looking for new tricks to aid me in walking.I had dual AN's

removed back in '82 and '83 and my balance was still pretty good.I can

remamber the days when I cud blaze a trail for 8 hours a day and still come

home feeling just fine.I have no idea if the balance nerve was taken during

surgery. How cud I find tht out? I know both the left and right facial nerves

were affected but abt a year later improved a lot. I have an appt next month

with my huero regarding a ouple issues and one is the Rx drug Meclizine. It's

pretty iffy I know but am willing to give everything a shot.OK I now use an

arm-crutch as it gives loads more support than a cane but this thing

musta been used as an anchor for cruiseliners in a previouss life.It aint

Aluminum and must be a steel or steel alloy.

I love the canes cuz they are quick and able to

manuver.Anyone using an arm-crutch made out o lighter metals? High-impact

plastics.

I need the support but gotta find a lighter one.

Yo, Pete! you got anything on this??........
