Guest guest
Dear AIDS Leadership: The missing piece in the Global AIDS puzzle is money. The UN Convention on Corruption provides for the repatriation of stolen assets, and the confiscation of proceeds of crime and corruption. The global illicit trade balance is now estimated at 2 trillion USD. Imagine the impact of securing 10% and conveying these funds to NGO's dedicated to research, prevention, treatment, care, etc. We made the AIDS crisis by ignoring corruption, which led to world drug addiction, sex trades and HIV-STD metastases. The global theft of money and the hegemony of corrupt power must be turned on it's head. Beneath the Second Wave of AIDS, there is a tsunami of poverty, war and millennial disease. Let's get ahead of the wave. if we are politically smart, we can learn to surf it. B. Brinn Global Alliance New York global325@...
