Hi Valeri,

My son did the same thing after a while. I believe our kids may have a

higher sense of taste and even though we have tried to conceal their

supplements, they still can taste them. So now, unless he actually gets his

juice (only clear juices, he doesn't trust grape anymore at all) and watch

me pour it, he won't drink it. He won't eat red sauce at all anymore or

anything that's gritty. So now I have a deep spoon and I mix his supplements

over 4 times per day with flax and flavored emulsified cod liver oil to hide

the taste. It seems to work. Hope this helps.

When I eat high phenol foods, I get a massive headache that will last

for 2-3 days and NOTHING I try helps. I have heard this described by

other AS also. So perhaps your daughter is not eating them, because

she realizes they make her feel ill.

Another thing can be that she has figured out that you " hide " things

in these foods.

The Zyme Prime enzyme from HNI helps some children with phenol issues.

HNI also has a new enzyme product called No-Fenol which will be

commercially available in April.

My son lost his PST and phenol sensitivity after several rounds of ALA

chelation, which is VERY nice!
