Guest guest
, Basically present antibodies within your bloodwork do not allow for an accurate TG reading. This is unfortunate, but true. Many of us have experienced antibodies following treatments, scans etc. It is frustrating, but your physician may want more frequent blood samples until there are no antibodies. Hope this helps Audra
Guest guest
I am in such a HYPO brain fog right now but I have to know something about Tg antibodies ... I just got a copy of my last blood draw (while supressed on meds: TSH 0.03 range 0.35-5.50 Thyroglobulin Quantitative 0.5 range 0.5-55.0 Thyroid Antithyroglobulin 26 range 0-40 My questions is does the antibodies have to be at 0 for the Tg to be reliable? I was feeling pretty good about the Tg # until I got the Anti # of 26 ... WHAT DOES THIS MEAN????????????? I just had another blood draw today to check if my TSH is high enough to proceed with my I131 Wed, scan Friday .... I also got them to do a hypo Tg blood draw.
