Guest guest
So, I know that the thread was specifically geared toward " athletes " , but I'm wondering how much people exercise. While dieting, I was working out for an hour or so 6 days a week (and gained weight the entire time, was undereating and crabby). Since going on IE, I walk for an hour maybe 4 times a week and go rock climbing (in a gym) once a week. I do these things because I really enjoy them, but I can hear that little " diet " voice come into my head and tell me " See, you should be doing MORE! " I read " French Women Don't Get Fat " last year, which advocated a lot of the IE principals, and her idea was that French women don't " work out " , but instead they walk everywhere they go. I really liked that idea, but it makes me nervous sometimes because I buy into the American " no pain, no gain " ethic. Thoughts, anyone?
