When I was on Dofetilide I was able to go for a walk and this would work. Amiodarone was going to bed and I would usually wake up in SR. Other than that, I would advise stooping Coffee, tea, chocolate, Fizzy drinks, Chinese, heavy meals. Red Wine and alcohol. See how you go then reintroduce these one by one and see what happens. Tea and coffee a no no I still dont drink Tea on decaff now just in case. Best regards john C UK - Do any of you have any hints of how to stop a Afib flare? I tried the straining, the coughing and the face in icewater. Those didn't work. This week I was in a flare and I ask one of the girls to slip up behind me and pour a small amount of icewater down my back. Worked like a charm. Would love to heard what others have had success with.
