Not exactly.

The ALA brings it out of the body quite well too. What the DMSA does

is to trap free mercury in the bloodstream so it can't diffuse back

into the cells. Kind of like turning a gate into a turnstile.

Kimo,

Have yiu tried using DMPS with the ALA ? I can not use even the

smallest amount of DMSA either because of reactions I have to it. I

switched to DMPS and am able to extend my chelation time a couple

days with the ALA. Also I can use a higher dose of ALA without the

allergy symptoms previously experienced with the ALA alone.

It is more expensive to do it this way but I can function better

using the DMPS with the ALA.
