Hi, everyone.

After some of you disagreed with the fact that thimerosal was removed

from vaccines in 1990, I started checking around. I contacted one

vet, and one author on holistic pet care. Neither one of them could

give me details, but it does appear that thimerosal is still is some

pet vaccines. I'm still searching for more detailed information and

will post it when it becomes available.

Here are the responses to my e-mails:

Are you aware of the mercury preservative thimerosal? I'm trying to

find out if and when it was removed from pet vaccines. Thank you for

any input.

Lori

Hi Lori: Yes, I know all about thimerosal..As far as I know it is

still in pet vaccines..its crazy what they get away with when it

comes to our pets!

Ann who wrote the books on my site (holistic pet care) has been

looking into this and she could update you more. Her e-mail is Ann

Hope this helps..

Hi Lori.

It is my understanding that thimerosal is still in some pet

vaccines. If you are going to have your pet vaccinated I would have

your vet or yourself check with the company that makes the vaccine

and find out if they are still using it in their product.

Sorry I could not be more help.

Sincerely,

Ann
