Guest guest
Hi , If I'm using my left fingers I use my right fingers as a guide and find the curve on the strip and lay my poked finger in the groove and slide it back and forth until I hear the beep. If not getting enough blood is your problem try running your hands under hot or cold water which ever works best for you; then poke your finger. They say milking your finger helps but I find the water works best for me. Let me know if you have any more questions or I can give ya my phone number if you would like. Guest guest
, Well, I need you to come over and give Crystal a good kick you know where. The two hour post reading seems to be something lots of folks don't like to contend with. Crystal fell off the wagon but we are working to get her back aboard. She managed to achieve a reasonably consistent 75 to 90 morning reading. She had some problems going too low during the night and began to think that she had the monster whipped - wrong decision! She managed to wander back into the 140-170 afternoon readings and had no idea how she got there. We have had some pointed discussions about this and about all I can say is that it don't promote a lot of warm fuzzy feelings among the troops. In the words of a very good friend from years ago it did promote a lot of cold prickly moments. Oh well, this too will - someday - pass. The item from about the acid reflux just may be the bit of news which will get Crystal's attention. If all else fails I may volunteer to go out to 's house and make the midnight runs because I may have no place to sleep. (smile) , sure seems like your problems are not unique my friend. When we started on this list Crystal's sugar was big time high because she had incorrect information about controlling her blood sugar. The only thing we did was get real serious about counting those carbs and Crystal was able to get the numbers down to where even and were pleased. another smile) , this is a good list and the advice you get here is sound, honest information which will assist you in winning the battle. Guest guest
wooh Cy that is a rough one. You talk to much, you'll make matters worse. Maybe ask her why she has decided to not be as strict with her control? I bet she mentions something like she is sick of it which is quite normal. She'll get back to the drill soon enough, she is just taking a short vacation *grin*. Guest guest
I think justin is right. It does get tiresome constantly " :being good " . I even take a break and eat something forbiddenevery once in a while. (no, , not Butterfingers-I have given up on those!) My weakness is summer fruit-plums, nectarines and peaches.
