Guest guest
Hi, Dweeby Donna, Just kidding. I'm glad he is doing some tests first. That's what the other guy should have done. Pamelor, indeed. At least this guy listened, found the most painful spot, and is following up on it. That's all to the good. Now, you have to keep after him to keep after the problems. ok? I know, it's a lot of work, but it IS your body, dearie. Loving hugs, MM
Guest guest
Donna, I'd say that was a really great first appointment! I'd also say that's a lot better appointment than what most get. It sounds like he is good and is already doing x-rays and changed your meds. The first visit is always a lot of blood taken. He'll know more after that and it shouldn't take too many more visits before he really kicks in with more treatment, etc. Congratulations on getting a good rheumy! Let us know how it goes down the road and how you're doing! Love, Laurie

Guest guest
Hello Donna, Sounds to me like you may have found a keeper. That would be fantastic. I am getting ready in a few weeks for my 3rd appt, but my 1st one lasted a little over an hour, had blood work, new pain med was given and I left with a good feeling about the doctor. If nothing else he at least seems to care, now it's just waiting for the right diagnosis. Cheryl
Guest guest
found the most painful spot Is there only just one with this cruddy disease?? lol Not on my end there isnt. I wake up with new spots or different spots everyday depending on what kind of mood my Lupus or fibromyalgia is in and believe me it is awfully moody. : -) Right now its in my back, arms legs, toes, and as a special bonus lots of night sweats so I cannot sleep. isnt it so wonderful how it likes to share its nastiness around??? Dont mind me just being cynical. : -) I get to go see my new nephews today and the rest of my nieces and nephews, and I get to spend time with my Tim since he is off for the weekend yeah! but not my he is doing a band booster event by working a carshow they are having at his school, to earn another letter for his jacket, or a chevron I am not sure if you get two letters in the same catagorie. anyways I wont see him until four p.m. : -( cant winn them all but looks like a great day for me. I hope all of you have a great weekend also. My prayers are with all of you. Carlasue
