Guest guest
I have mentioned this before, but thought that I would repeat for new people. I walk and feel that it helps me quite a bit. The other thing that I have found which is quite good is Pilates..... I have a home " machine " to use. IT's neat because your head/neck/back are really protected. You can work and BALANCE all your muscle groups......you can do it at your own pace...actually slower is better.......I feel invigorated, rather then tired when I am done. It was initially developed as a rehab for dancers. Here is a link that has some information....... http://www.looksmart.com/eus1/eus53940/eus53949/eus890760/r?l & Have a great weekend...... Guest guest
put me down for two more hours of pacing today...that ought to count for something, right? Doctor teased saying he never knew someone could move continuously for so long in such a small place. Nothing new to report with Craig. THey just added new drugs to the little guy's body. Guest guest
Dear Lyssa i am struggling with a bad knee i would stay away from anything using your knee till the soreness is over. then i would work on getting your muscles stronger around your knee.. i am now taking a supplement for joints that the dr at the gym sold me and swears works so it better i have been taking it easy on the cardio work outs and sticking to the weights catherine -----

Beth Certain people who nag will be glad to know that I did a half an hour on our new stationary bike. DH also bought a stepper. I did about 15 minutes of floor exercises. Ands I have been good since last Tuesday. Still not low enough to start losing though. Tomorrow night is our Christmas concert. That should be fun. Guest guest
Lyssa, I hope your knee feels better. Maybe you should do an upper body work out today and give your knee a rest. Guest guest
>I was down kneeling on the floor changing Isabelle when my right knee > " locked " and then POPPED very loudly as it snapped back .. and now its sore >today boohoo .. Oh gawd....do I know the feeling of hearing that noise...pure fear strikes my heart when my knee does that. The last time it popped out of joint, it swelled up so much I had to stay off it for a month and that added up to beaucoup pounds as I feel REAL sorry for myself and compensate with eating. Take care of that knee, Lyssa!!! I do those raises with weights...CRAFT here as usual, can't remember the name...to strengthen my knee. Joya (Honduras) Exercise today and every day! It will keep you looking and feeling younger throughout your entire life!
Guest guest
Well it was more of a thunk/clunk and boy did I feel it. its not so bad right now but when i kneel or bend it feels like it might lock again. I did go to the gym today. It wasnt that hard of a workout mainly because I was helping my friend get familiar with the machines, etc and showed her proper form .. then I did my set. Normally I do 3 set but today we just did 1 of each for time allowance .. I do hope to go tomorrow though so we'll see how it goes. At least i went!
