Guest guest
This a question for pediatric RDs, (or anyone who knows!). I share an office with the infection control nurse at our hospital and she has a 7month old son. In conversation I learned his MD has told her not to give him water due to the risk of hyponatremia. I had never heard that, (of course gave my children water 20 some years ago) and find it strange to give no water. I can understand not much water, none surprises me. Can someone bring me up to speed on this? Thanks, Holly Moler-Krohne RD
