Does anyone have a recommendation for a coffee whitener for a patient who

needs to restrict protein?

Kroger Coffee Creamer has zero protein but 1.5 gram saturated fat (serv. size 4

tsp.).

First two ingredients: sugar, partially hydrogenated palm oil.

Is there a reason you are not recommending creamers? or maybe

gradually reducing the whitener to get to drinking it black?

I believe Rice Dream Original has only 1g of protein per serving.  It is

enriched with calcium and vitamid D.
