I am curious if any of your patients that are relatively young (40-50s) with

active lifestyles and healthy diets get further lab tests such as VAP?

My patient is 49 and active, just had lipids drawn:

Total 267 HDL 90 LDL 143

Your thoughts?

Personally, I opted for an ultrasound on my carotids. The cost difference

was slight - at least for me.

Don't dig your grave with your own knife and fork. ~English Proverb

A diet is the penalty we pay for exceeding the feed limit.

More die in the United States of too much food than of too little.

If hunger is not the problem, then eating is not the solution.
