Is your friend willing to travel with cans of formula? If so, I would highly

recommend using Pediasure which is a pediatric formula for 1-10 year olds.

It comes in a variety of flavor, and most kids will easily accept the

vanilla flavor.

If she does not want to carry cans, I would suggest a toddler formula for

9-24 months babies. (Neosure is an infant formula designed for premature

babies with extra nutrients specifically for preemies). Nestle has a great

toddler product for 10-18 month olds, " Carnation Good Start 2 with DHA/ARA "

and you can find most places which sell infant formula. This would be my

first choice for this little boy.

I work at Denver Children's, so just let me know if you have any other

questions.
