Andy,

What have eggs and sulphur got to do with yeast? Never heard this one before

and as we are on the SCD AND chelating and my girl gets eggs almost every

other day, we'll be getting very limited if I have to take them out. Also,

which are the veggies to avoid? I'm already cutting down on meat for fear of

BSE. She'll be living on fresh air soon.

Thanks,

Eileen, UK

What is " rutabagas " ??

Also:-

> cabbage onions garlic broccoli cauliflower brussels sprouts turnips

> rutabagas asparagus and relatives of these. Cucumbers lettuce squash

> celery carrots mushrooms tomatoes eggplant and potatoes are fine.

Sheep have 'scrapie' which is a relative of BSE. Also chicken and turkey are

often stuffed full of antibiotics and questionable food (feeding them

poultry offal/remains - Ughhhhhh). The only safe bet is organic meat and

poultry, or meat from a reliable source. All meat and poultry produced via

intensive farming methods is risky.

| Which Indian foods specifically are high in salicylates?

| Just speaking from our experience--my son had takensome chinese herbs

| for a while-- they went through his system undigested. Long story

| but they were on the tip of the enema, gave enema's--they were all

| over the toilet. Totally undigested. Can you imagine how irritating

| that was to his gut? UGH! So I try to limit my son's consumption of

| spicy foods now, just from that experience.

| W

I wonder what the chinese herbs were. Didn't Moria once say the chinese herbs

are supposed to sit around in the gut?

Seems odd. Anyway, herbs are leaves and spices are ground up bark, pods, etc.

Herbs aren't high in salicylates.

Spices are. Some Indian food is quite spicy. Spicy foods can sure be

irritating to the bladder, and I suppose to the

gut. I don't know if that would inhibit gut healing, though I imagine it would.
