Guest guest
Hi all - I have a patient that has Gorlin Chaudrhry Moss syndrome. His mother is wondering how she could get him to feed himself more. He will take the first 2-3 bites of the meal on his own and then needs continual prompting and most often his parents will feed him. He is a very healthy and happy young man - he plays video games, can maneuver a remote control car, etc. so his mother feels he has the ability to feed himself. While frustrated, she is sensitive to him getting his needed calories. He almost had a g-tube placed about 18 months ago and she avoided this by getting him to eat - I think she's fearful of something similar happening again. Any thoughts or suggestions I could pass along would be most appreciated. Thanks, Jen Birge, RD,CDEwww.realhelpforweightloss.comWant to do more with Windows Live? Learn “10 hidden secrets” from .
