Guest guest
Thank you Janine and you did not bring up bad memories. These and other symptoms are on my mind continually as I search for help and answers for the family to stop these cycles. I was very happy to see that I am not alone and indeed others are relating this to some types of mito. This helps me go forward and not question myself so much or give up thinking I am making this all up or nuts or something. I think support is every bit as important as knowledge. I have to say I am very surprised that the authorities have not removed him from the home, I thought that was standard in situations such as this. I didn't know about your situation, I am new to the list. I am sorry if my message brought up bad memories from the past...on top of what you are dealing with in the present. You and will be in my prayers. Take care and the best of luck. Janine <<< <Mitoonelist > at INTERNET-MAIL 8/29 3:57p >>> Janine, I guess I've said on here before that my father did kill someone when he lost his violent temper and my great uncle killed his wife & then himself.Etc. Everyone on here is probably sick of hearing me repeat the same stories. Last nite I had to call 911 on the abuse commited against my grandson . He was bruised top to bottom, not as bad as some photos I've seen of abused kids, but bad (everyone who saw him was appalled and angry) and after talking to my son and his wife we were told she never hit him. She stood there cold as ice when I told her she HAD to get help for herself and then got this wierd smile on her face. It was eerie. When I said we would now fight legally for his safety and she was leaving with him telling me we would never see him again so I freaked out as we had just had him for the nite and told him no one deserves to be hit (he told us she hits him with the wooden spoon and vacume hose for doing bad things so he deserves it and that is what she has to do to make him be a good boy-SICK SICK SICK behavior on her part and my sons for allowing this to go on). I am so afraid now she will hurt him worse. The police believed us and even told them the same thing. There is already CPS records against them and other reports, etc. I had to stand there while they drove away with him however. I thought if a childs life were in danger he was to be removed while they investigated it. Great justice system, huh? He starts school Monday. We are taking other steps Monday too. I would ask that anyone who is the praying type please pray for . Thank you.
