Change Your Brain, Change your Life book in 98 helped me a lot. Husband and I

flew across the country to get brain scans last september when I was fed up with

local service and husband.

Dr. Amen is good but I didn't like the doctor at his satellite clinic (he has

four).I learned from the scans but not much from the psychiatrist.

Added a BMI/brain scan study to my bibliography - obese people have less brain

activity /blood flow:

http://www.nature.com/oby/journal/vaop/ncurrent/full/oby201116a.html

C. Willeumier, V. and G. Amen

Elevated BMI Is Associated With Decreased Blood Flow in the Prefrontal Cortex

Using SPECT Imaging in Healthy Adults,

(Obesity (2011)) DOI:10.1038/oby.2011.16

**so being fat makes us think slow or thinking slow makes us fat - I think it

goes along with the fat people are sick people theory that I have been working

on.

I liked all the books that I've looked at of his and his nutrient recommendation

information was good; however he is on board with vitamin D as of Sept/2010. His

process seems commercialized now - we were pumped through there system with a

big emphasis on payment.
