Guest guest
Hi all, I am tech challenged but coming around and was thinking about a pocket PDA for all my nutrition information rather than all the books I have. Does anyone recommend one where I could download information/formulas/equations etc? An Ipad would be too bigos looking for something pocket size..... Guest guest
Colleen, Why not consider an iPod Touch which would be pocket sized? There are alot of good medical, health, and reference applications in the iTunes store, many of which are free. Mine has been extremely helpful in my consulting business. You can e-mail privately if you need any more information. Guest guest
I agree, PDAs are not available any more. Mine have died or are dying and I switched to an IPAD Giles Walters Consulting Dietitian Augusta, GA In a message dated 3/5/2011 9:19:36 A.M. I use Nutrition Toolbox (which is a great program) for the Palm and I tried to find a new palm, because my is dying and they're nearly impossible to find. I think the best bet is finding an app for your smart phone, ITouch or I pad. > > > Colleen, > > Why not consider an iPod Touch which would be pocket sized? Guest guest
Is there compatible programs to download to the Ipad or Itouch for acute care info? Such as tpn/TF info, BEE calculations etc? I noticed on the ADA website that some resources are downloadable. Has anyone downloaded anything to their Ipad or Itouch? Sorry for all the questions, just want to make a wise investment.
