Guest guest
Hi Group, My Mom (Dorothy) had her neuro appointment today. The Doc recommended that she elevate her head while sleeping at night. Has anyone out there tried this? What results? How high should she elevate? Should she get some kind of a wedge? What material should is the best? Does foam work? Thanks for any replies. Guest guest
HI, I found that this is a wonderful help to me. http://www1.jcpenney.com/jcp/default.asp Do a search on wedge pillow. JC Penney's have wedges to sleep with both in their regular catalog and they have a catalog just for disabilities, which is very interesting. I have 2 wedges one is about an 8 inch and the other 12 inches at the highest. I use the 8 usually and the 12 when I am really not well. I also sleep with a small (5x8 inch) pillow with some sort of hulls in it. I put this above my ear when I lay down, so that my spine stays in alignment. ******************** Suzanne Chisum schisum@...
