Guest guest
When I wrote something about " packaged " health ed. product companies being used by chiropractic businesses I was referring to something like this company, not Nuval. There are many direct marketing companies and a few of them really do put increased money in R & D and have good products but more that I have examined are just pyramid scheme marketing skams. I have looked into many and joined a few but I am not a salesperson. I found that I am too old school in believing that health professionals 'shouldn't' pitch product - undermines credibility. But if the unscrupulous are speaking up then those with scruples need to speak up also. I haven't made money at it but I joined Melaleuca in 2003 and like the product variety enough that I never disenrolled. Melalueca uses 'oligo-fructose compounding' to make their vitamins and minerals better absorbed - replicating the emulsifying power of glyco-compounds. My son actually kept using their calcium/magnsium supplemt for years because he saw positive fingernail results (not a milk drinker either). Arbonne also has some great products. The " NanoGreens10 by Bioparma Scientific " that were in a thread last week did not look well designed at all, but the website and literature were beautiful and well written. (A clue - nutrient label pitiful compared to the home page). The age of the company is a good clue as well - a bad direct marketing scheme won't survive too many generations of people not making money or enjoying their 'product'. How expensive the initial buy in and monthly commitment are is also worth asking. Better companies promise smaller rewards with clear indication that work is required to be successful. Products that get used up regularly also help - Pampered Chef and Tupperware have great kitchen tools but you can only use so many - candles, vitamins, and cleaning products need to be replaced sooner. Don't do it . . . is probably excellent advice (esp w that article link). Guest guest
I thought that Herbal Life is a pyramid type company. Brazilian friends of mine started to sell Herbal Life many years ago...they gave up their day jobs and have franchised (don't know if that is the correct term) all over Brazil...If you get in at the top you may have a chance to make a lot of money. Most people do not make a lot of money and you may find that your friends run away when you appear:). I think the products are okay but nothing special.
