Actually, if you look in any dictionary, both spellings are considered

correct. It's only the ADA that says that the spelling with a " t " is

" preferred. "

And, until/unless they lobby all the major dictionaries and spell checkers,

it will remain correct either way.

Why the spelling with a " t " was preferred by ADA when most other " cian "

professions use c is beyond me!
