Guest guest
Hi. I'm new here. My son is fifteen months old. I think he is autistic. His cousin was just diagnosed. Reasons for my suspicions: Used to talk (mama, dada, baby) but stopped allergic to wheat/milk head bangs minimal to no eye contact won't play with any of his toys but a few--those he can drag and those that have doors that open and close; does this almost all day won't let anyone touch him but me and my husband and barely hates the carseat hates long pants and long shirts cries almost constantly (since birth and still) Am I being paranoid? Does anyone know anything about the yeast connection with autism and any books which might help with this issue? He's had yeast infections since birth. I already have him on a gfcf diet and this has improved the eye contact and crying. Thought I could try the yeast elimination.
Guest guest
Children's Diagnostic and Treatment Center (CDTC) in Fort Lauderdale can provide screening for you and depending on the current funding may be able to provide some behavioral, speech, occupational and physical therapy for your child. They provide early intervention services and do diagnostic testing. You can also try the Dan Marino Center for a diagnosis. Good Luck to you. -------------- Original message from "evadingerror" : -------------- Hi. I'm new here. My son is fifteen months old. I think he is autistic.
