Guest guest
I just lost my baby in the 20th week of pregnancy. One of the factors that was cited as a possible cause (of course, there is nothing definitive) was my 5cm x 7cm uterine fibroid. It grew to this size during the pregnancy. Apparently the emryo adhered itself at the fibroid site, so the placenta was on top of the fibroid and the baby was pushed up a little. We are devastated at the loss of our son and scared to death to try again until we get some answers on this fibroid. What are the risks associated with its removal? I have heard it could cause damage to the uterine wall making a full term pregnancy difficult..? Any experiences or advice athis point?
