We will be spending the evening of Thursday, February 28th with Chairman Bean here in South Florida. We are asking all advocates to collect contributions from the grass roots in your area for this fundraiser. Any amount is acceptable, as we will bundle them for a much stronger impact. 50 checks for $10 from grass roots are more preferable than one check for $500 from a special interest group. The more the better, as we want to demonstrate very strong grass roots support. We need to get 20 strong advocates to commit to each raising $500 dollars. This would bring in $10,000. A very respectable amount for any legislator. As they say, 'Many hands lighten the load'. We also are in need of some volunteers for the evening.
