Nizoral....increased burning 1 week later

Hi all...

My new MD gave me Nizoral 200mg to try. I take 1 a day for 7 days

then 1 every other day for 6 weeks...get a liver test done and go

from there.

Now...I did great for the first 6 days and today I am on FIRE. My

crotch..front to back feels like I sat on hot coals.

Anyone know of this happens when using antifungals? To get worse

like this?

Also...from what I have read about Nizoral...it can cause hormone

problems..mostly with testosterone. Can this be a cause of my

burning?

I told this new MD (doc #14) that I believe in my heart that while

enterococcus was found in my urine...that my main problems are a

combo of yeast and hormones. She wants to work on yeast first then

hormones.

I have

burning eyes

burning tongue

a sore in my nose that comes and goes (going away)

burning vulva

burning anal skin (not the anus but the skin around it like diaper

rash)

plus a BUNCH of perimeno symptoms (I'm 40)

sleep problems

PVC's (heart skips beats)

dry skin that cracks easily

memory problems

no sex drive

I could go on...but I'll spare you.

All my tests always show " normal limits " of hormones though.

Sounds like you have vulvodynia. Have you been diagnosed or treated for

that?
