Dear Card Artist and Crew,

Thanks so much for your good wishes with my radiation treatments (I have now

done 12 out of my 28 treatments). I never expected your card! So far the

hardest part of my ordeal was the process of coming to a decision as to what

form of treatment to do. Once I decided that, there was relief, and then a

little residual anxiety as to whether I'd made the right decision.

I like my Dr. Lynda Mandell so much and she expresses so much confidence that

I guess I've managed to lull my worries for a while, at least. While the

treatment is an incursion into my life routine, I am so lucky not to be in

the hospital, much less having surgery. I feel all good wishes should be

thrown Joanie's way!
