Tampa, FL 33602 Dear Mr. Ober,I am writing to you regarding the egregious incident where a Hillsborough County Sheriff dumped a man with quadriplegia out of his wheelchair. There is evidently a lack of proper procedures and policies and training, under Title II of the ADA, in reference to checking in a person with a disability at the jail or Sheriff's Office wide. Please send me a copy of the Sheriff's Transition Plan under the ADA for the jail and the office and/or a current copy of the procedures and policies on how the sheriff's office fully accommodates any person with a disability.I have written to Sheriff Gee and have not received a response.
