Its web site is: http://www.nih.gov/sigs/mito/poster.html. Featured is Fischel-Ghodsian of Cedar-Sinai speaking on mitochondrial mutations and hearing loss. Also featured are talks about AIDS drugs and mitochondria, apoptosis and mitochondria, gene therapy of mitochondrial DNA mutations, the significance of uncoupling respiration from energy production, and non-invasive measurements of mitochondrial function. There is an accompanying poster session from 12:30-2:00 pm. The Minisymposium will be available on the web in real time (and later archived) at http://videocast.nih.gov, on the NIH Mbone system, and could be available for teleconferencing (contact me).
