Welfare Recepients withdrawing money in vacation/exotic locations

Colorado Welfare dollars are being withdrawn at ATMs in Hawaii, Las Vegas

casinos (including between 10 pm and 6 am), Virgin Islands, Puerto Rico,

etc, etc.

Just reported on the noon news (Channel 7) today.

Hmmm, shelter, clothing and child care. . . 2.3 million in CO Welfare

dollars withdrawn at ATMs outside of Colorado!

I'd assume the fraud is as great in other states. Granted, ALL out of state

withdrawals are not fraudulent, but, if somebody on welfare can afford to

spend money at these places, obviously, they don't really NEED free tax

dollars!

(I surely saw this fraud personally when I worked in WIC, Public Health and

Home Health Care over the years. Time for the govt to investigate. . . I

still think that if private clients have to be drug tested for certain

jobs, then random drug testing should be mandatory to receive welfare funds as

well.)
