Guest guest
Does anyone have the link to the welfare story? Re: Welfare Recepients withdrawing money in vacation/exotic locations I don't mean to speak for Jan but not all recipients are " poor me " people either. There is fraud in every entitlement program and I feel Jan was just pointing out how the program can be abused. Fraud busters and/or programs needs to be in place in every entitlement program. I feel if someone can smoke they can afford to take that money and spend on food and housing and care for their children. In our local hospital they are refusing to hire any new employees who smoke. > > > Colorado Welfare dollars are being withdrawn at ATMs in Hawaii, Las Vegas > casinos (including between 10 pm and 6 am), Virgin Islands, Puerto Rico, > etc, etc. > > Just reported on the noon news (Channel 7) today. > > Hmmm, shelter, clothing and child care. . . 2.3 million in CO Welfare > dollars withdrawn at ATMs outside of Colorado! > > I'd assume the fraud is as great in other states.
