ADA membership - tax deductible?

Sorry if this is a dumb question, but do any of you deduct your ADA dues/RD

renewals from your taxes? My employer does not pay for these, so I'm

wondering if I could deduct. I'm not trying to scam the IRS or anything,

just would love to be able to decrease my tax liability from items I'm

required to pay for anyway for employment.
