Guest guest
I don't have a vitamin recommendation but I looked at the Nanogreens website - looks expensive and processed - not necessarily worse than other similar products but not better than food. The " Meal " has a pitiful B vitamin balance - so could be worse than Carnation and the like. Their antioxidant and superfood content includes some nice names on the label but at half a gram of a " proprietary blend " - I question whether any one of the phytonutrients would be present in an effective amount. Cinnamon is contained but the tested dose in diabetes is more like 1/2 tsp/day, not a few milligrams. Vitamin B2 (as Riboflavin) 170mcg 10% Vitamin B3 (as Niacin) 400mcg 2% Vitamin B6 (as pyridoxial-5phosphate) 1mg 50% Vitamin B9 (as folic acid) 200mcg 12% Vitamin B12 (as cyanocobalamin) 85.5mcg 1425% and their independent chemical analysis showed their product as not meeting the stated B12 amount, only tested at 27.3 mcg - not too close to their label's 85.5 claim. and would 200 mcg of folic acid be only 12% of the RDA? I didn't see any change to that number and I thought it was 400 for most age groups.
