Guest guest
Hello all, Wow...I was reading my mail and was incredibly touched to see all your responses. It felt so wonderful to really feel that I am far from being alone going through what I'm going through...I will take the time this coming weekend to respond to you all individualy, I work full time during the week plus family when I get home, so weekdays/nights are full time occupied. To answer a few questions that were asked, I live in Vancouver, British Columbia and I am in the process of researching the available ressources that are here or around. I am 28 yr old, have an 8 yr old son who is very healthy. I took some of your advices already and wow...it worked! I asked my hubby to read a few of the posts on the site and while he was reading them, he realised that this is more serious than the neuro has put it out to be. So I already feel much more supported at home. As far as requesting to see neurosurgeon, since the medical system is different here, any specialist have to be requested by a doctor. So hopefully the neurosurgeon that I will see knows about this condition. Same goes for tests/mri's and the rest, it has to be required by yr doc. So far, things are somewhat going ahead. I have my MRI on wednesday and am seing neurologist on friday. Hopefully my results will be back by then. The dizzyness, pressure and symptoms that I have been experiencing fo rthe past few weeks, i doubt are related to the amytriptiline as I have been taking them for 5 months already and those symtoms just started. I have had a bit of adjustment to the amytriptiline during the first few weeks and then ajusted. I was reading that symptoms can be " activated " by a choc/fall/accident...And I am now wondering if my symtoms are coming out due to falling off a hammoc last summer, it was a 4 foot fall and I landed sitting down, right on my tailbone. Since I have a pretty advanced scoliose, I went to the hosp to make sure all was fine. I was okay...just sore for a few days, but okay. It seems that prior to that event I had no symptoms whatsoever...could this maybe have provoqued all of this to come out now? Thank You all again for your time and very valued input....I has been wonderful, very informative and also reassuring to read your emails... I will talk to you all soon! BTW, I do not seem to have access to the chat button...anyone has that prob too? By for now, Roxan ________________________________________________________________________ Get Your Private, Free E-mail from MSN Hotmail at http://www.hotmail.com
