Sometimes people have to realise that it just ain't gonna work out with the ones that they were born into. I've been reading your posts about your brother for a while now and now you tell me about your " winner " of a dad...and it makes me sad to see you caring so much about what these terribly dysfunctional folks think of you. I can't imagine any harder tie to break than the one with family. But if it is a one-way tie, then there's really no connection there to begin with. I think you've tried hard enough with them Matt. It's time for them to try a little, too. And if they won't, it might be time to give up on them. It's sad advice but the only advice I can find in myself to give. Other than hang in there, dude. You do have other people who care about you. -dm demitria monde thraam transmits at: http://thraam.com
