Hey Matt...it sounds a lot to me like you need a new family. Sometimes people

have to

realise that it just ain't gonna work out with the ones that they were born

into. I've been

reading your posts about your brother for a while now and now you tell me about

your

" winner " of a dad...and it makes me sad to see you caring so much about what

these terribly

dysfunctional folks think of you. I can't imagine any harder tie to break than

the one with

family. But if it is a one-way tie, then there's really no connection there to

begin with. I think

you've tried hard enough with them Matt. It's time for them to try a little,

too. And if they

won't, it might be time to give up on them.

It's sad advice but the only advice I can find in myself to give.

Other than hang in there, dude. You do have other people who care about you.
