Guest guest
Hey all. Been busy, but had to respond to " working the program " . Life has it's share of ups and downs, don't ya know. When I was active in AA,life's little and not so little ment one of two things; A) I was working the program. Or I was'nt working the program. Got sick and tired of being told how sick and tired,(tired cause I was'nt able to sleep due to 6 cups of coffee at 8 PM??maybe). After 2 years, had to get away...To weird, clubbies talking about " earth-people " and whatnot,(hello Jim ?). Guess what? Quit my job after getting out,(against the " suggestion " of my sponser, he liked to " suggest " quite a few major decisions in my life, and like a good clubbie, I would comply, cause that ment I was " working the program " ). Anyway, started a business, small but doing great. I wish I had followed my dream instead of my " suggestion " 2and 1/2 years ago. Oh well, was busy being a drone " working " the program. Did not want to die, at least that's what I was told, and it had to be true cause everybody nodded there heads yes. That's all. Hope everybody doing well. Apple, congrats on progressing with your site. It opened my eyes. Wonder if the bee keeper ever found his bee? Ann, I do pop in on a meeting abt. once a month, but only because there are one or two there that I truely enjoy as friends. And the not drinking thing is but one of many different similarities that makes me want to socialize, but my whole way of mental processing what I here during the meeting has sure changed. Seems like I'm not a drone anymore, but as I look around, I don't have much company. Do what you think works for you. These are some good people here. Oh yeah, remember life? Well it still has it's up's and downs...but at least I'm enjoying the ride. Sorry for the long wind. PEACE ALL....Jon
