(my opinion) Try using DMSA only on the child that is throwing up, after

he feels better. Stop the ALA altogether, and see the results. I have

never seen a bad reaction to DMSA by it's self, and the TLC studies of

700 chelating children show it. I can post them again if needed? Now you

got me wondering. When I tried DMSA/ALA for 2 years, I vomited all the

time. Havn't been doing that lately on oral EDTA/DMSA, and stopping the

ALA. Good question. ltldab1@ juno.com

You will know in a few hours if anyone else gets the flu in the

family. Wait and see game. Good luck...hope it is just the

flu...and that he recovers quickly!

[ ] Chelation and vomiting

ok, I'm wondering if the vomiting is not related to the chelation.

I stopped the dmsa/ala at 9 this morning, but he's still vomitin.

Perhaps he has the flu. His brother is continuing to do well, no

vomiting. What do you guys think? I'm worried about him.

This one I cannot " let pass " . For anyone considering the side

effects of DMSA vs. ALA:

I have been reading posts here about kids taking DMSA who have

red cheeks, low nutrophils (sp?), stuffy noses, bloody noses,

and all sorts of stuff like this. So much so that it seems

kinda " expected " .

I have read posts from only a handful of people using ALA only,

but I suspect there are LESS side effects. I have myself taken

it for 1.5 years and have had very little side effects.

best wishes,

Moria
